Age Range: 4-8 years old, or 9 & Up Beginners

Practice Time: 1 Hour

Attendance Requirements:  2 days per week, 3 days are recommended

Meet Requirements: 2 Duel Meets designated by coach and 8 & Under Regional  Meet (1per season)

Ability Level Required:

1. Knowledge and proficiency in freestyle and backstroke
2. Ability to swim 25 yards freestyle  and backstroke

Group Goals:

1. Knowledge of all 4 strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly)
2. Know what the backstroke flags are
3. Know backstroke stroke count from the flags to the wall
4. Able to do a correct dive off the blocks
5. Learn the freestyle flip turn

Training Goals:

1. Ability to swim each stroke properly
2. Competition in all four strokes

from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (school schedule)
